FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions about Vehicle Wraps

Billboard spot graphics and vinyl lettering

Frequently asked questions about vehicle wraps or fleet vinyl graphics.

What brands of vinyl are used to wrap vehicles at Logo Wrap Shop.

We use the three major vinyl brands available for printing and color change brands in USA.

Arlon, 3M, Avery Dennison and Orafol.

Are your vehicle wraps laminated with protective film for major durability?

Yes, each vinyl brand company offers a matching premium cast overlaminate that is recommended to give the digital print vinyl wrap a maximum durability.

How many types of vehicle coverage are implemented at Logo Wrap Shop?

Different vehicle wrap options are offered as vehicle branding packages.

No. 1. Full coverage for your fleet vehicle surface. This option normally includes coverage of all sides of the vehicle. When we are talking about a truck or a van, many times the full coverage wrap includes the top part of the vehicle, the molding and fenders depending on the vehicle make or model. This option allows more flexibility on design and visibility.

No. 2. Partial vehicle or partial coverage wraps are the solution for advertising services or products at a lower cost than option No. 1. Partial wraps are cost friendly because part of your vehicle is left blank. Cab, hood or tops are not covered. Wrap vinyl is applied only to the major flat surfaces.

This type of coverage is cost effective without losing visibility of your brand. This is the second most recommended option for outdoor advertising.

No. 3. Spot graphics and lettering. This is the third type of advertising. It is the combination of graphics with vinyl cut out lettering to reproduce your logo branding image. Many times, commercial fleet graphics require few or basic brand elements of identification. Spot logos or graphics are digital printed laminated for protection and contour-cut according to your logo brand.  Lettering could be printed with the exact brand color from your branding manual or can be cut from a big variety of standard vinyl colors.  This type of advertising is the most inexpensive of the three types of branding packages.

One common question about vehicle wraps is what will the state of paint be when we remove the wrap and want to sell the vehicle?

The answer is, the paint on vehicles will never be exposed to the sun because it is covered with the vinyl. The vehicle paint will be as new after removing the wrap.
